Exciting New Times Ahead !!

Hello friends, This is a very exciting and new period coming up ahead. After suffering the loss of my very dear brother-in-law, Tushar Gupta to the vagaries of freeway traffic in Minneapolis, USA, I am going to throw myself at my work and have decided that I will challenge myself with my capacity to work to the fulllest limits that I can pull myself to. My Latest Creations: Artist in me awakens!!

Who would have thought that after so many years of practising as a Chartered Accountant, the artist within me would re-emerge? Those of you who know me well, will also know that my father, Shri Krishna Shankar Mathur has been an artist since his teenage years. I cannot present the entire collection of the drawings made by him, but can present a sample of some of the drawings that I have been able to scan and preserve. The picture you see above is a self-portrait (undated) of himself, when he had not married my mother. I would put the date on this picture somewhere between 1954 and 1959. This is the painting that he made for me on my 51st Birthday, in November'2013. There are many others in between, but I have not got the time to actually photograph / scan the same due to constant paucity of time.
